Job Requirements
City Facilities Management is seeking candidates who:
- Have prior cleaning experience (domestic or commercial)
- Own a smartphone (essential for reporting and shift communication)
- Hold valid working rights in Australia
- Can work independently and as part of a team
- Are detail-oriented and take pride in keeping environments clean and safe
- Can physically perform cleaning duties such as lifting, scrubbing, vacuuming, and polishing
- A willingness to undergo a Police Check or Working with Children’s Check (mandatory)
Key Responsibilities
As a Cleaner, you will:
- Perform thorough cleaning across entryways, learning spaces, amenities, hallways, laundry, and shared zones
- Disinfect high-touch surfaces such as handles, switches, counters, and partitions
- Maintain glass, flooring & fixtures through vacuuming, scrubbing, polishing, and spot-cleaning (doors, mirrors, counters, basins, windowsills, partitions)
- Support general upkeep tasks such as dusting, cobweb removal, and lifting rugs for full floor coverage
- Ensure cleaning equipment is properly used, maintained, and stored
- Comply with all Health & Safety protocols in line with City standards
Available Shifts
- Monday to Friday between 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
- Additional opportunities to cover shifts between 9:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m.
