Job Requirements
PSC Solar UK is urgently looking for qualified and experienced Company Truck Drivers for their Ikeja, Lagos offices.
- Must have a minimum of 3+ years of truck driving experience (required)
- Must be able to drive both Jeeps and big 6–8 tyre diesel trucks
- Must be able to read and write in English
- Must hold a valid Nigeria Driver’s Licence
- Must be proficient in the use of WhatsApp
- Experience with long-distance driving is helpful
- Some knowledge of engine mechanics is helpful but not required
- Knowledge of Nigerian roads and road safety rules is a plus
- Must be honest, serious, and truthful
- Must be willing to travel 75% of the time, including weekends and holidays
- Only qualified drivers with at least 3+ years of truck driving experience should apply
Key Responsibilities
As a Company Truck Driver, you will safely operate company vehicles, maintain their condition, and support local and interstate transportation needs.
- Drive company Jeeps as well as 6–8 wheel diesel trucks within the city and interstate across Nigeria to job sites
- Promote the company and enhance its image through appearance and behaviour
- Maintain petrol/diesel levels and ensure periodic scheduled maintenance of vehicles is observed and reported
- Drive company vehicles with due care and attention, ensuring passenger safety at all times
- Ensure all safety and precautionary devices in the vehicle are in place
- Keep assigned vehicles clean inside and outside
- Undertake long-distance and interstate driving as required
