Job Requirements

Emirates Engineering is looking for a Mechanic to join their team in Dubai and assist with the maintenance of Emirates and third-party aircraft.

Ideal candidates:

• Must have a Vocational / National / Higher National Diploma (12+2 or equivalent) or Apprenticeship in Mechanical, Electronic, Avionics, or Aeronautical Engineering
• Or equivalent training with a reputable airline or an approved maintenance organization
• Preferred experience in an engineering environment
• Must have full awareness of safety procedures
• Must be able to work under supervision of Licensed Aircraft Engineers
• Must be committed to safety and maintaining a clean, obstruction-free work area

Key Responsibilities

As a Mechanic, you will be responsible for supporting Aircraft Technicians and Licensed Aircraft Engineers with aircraft maintenance and operational activities, including basic servicing, component replacements, fuel handling, wheels and brakes servicing, nitrogen recharging, engine servicing, and other assigned tasks under appropriate supervision. You will inspect and maintain tools and equipment, clean aircraft and engine components according to approved specifications, assist with push-back operations and snag rectification, maintain a clean and organized work area, and follow all required safety procedures to support safe and efficient aircraft operations.

• Assist Aircraft Technicians and Licensed Aircraft Engineers with the maintenance of Emirates and third-party aircraft
• Assist senior staff with aircraft fuel handling, wheels & brakes servicing, nitrogen recharging, engine servicing, and other operational support activities
• Carry out basic support servicing and/or component replacements as instructed and supervised by Licensed Engineers
• Inspect all equipment before use to ensure it is fully operational and report any faults to the Supervisor
• Ensure tools, equipment, and systems (including Ultramain) are well maintained
• Maintain safety of self and others by following safety precautions at all times
• Keep the working area clean and free of obstructions to avoid accidents
• Clean aircraft and engine parts in accordance with approved manual specifications
• Assist during push-back operations to ensure procedures are carried out efficiently and safely
• Assist the Senior Mechanic / Aircraft Engineer with snag rectification and component changes using special tools to keep aircraft fully operational and avoid delayed departures
