Job Requirements
Mainiokoti Uuttu is looking for a local nurse for a permanent full-time role in their warm care home in Espoo.
- Registered nurse by training
- Positive attitude, takes initiative, and genuinely interested in working with the elderly
- Good communication skills and able to produce good written content
- Fluent oral and written Finnish language skills (at least B1 level)
- Knowledge of medication and medication treatment permits (or ability to complete them at the start of employment)
- Vaccination protection in accordance with the Communicable Diseases Act
- Tuberculosis clearance and salmonella certificate
- Valid Suosikki/Terhikki registration, professional card, and hygiene passport
- Criminal record extract as required for work with elderly or disabled people
Key Responsibilities
As a Local Nurse, you will provide daily care and support to residents, administer medication according to care policies, promote well-being and independence, and work closely with families and healthcare professionals to maintain accurate records and support treatment and rehabilitation plans.
- Participate in the daily care of residents, supporting their well-being and enabling meaningful everyday life
- Carry out daily care and nursing work
