Job Requirements
Westcoast Poultry Services is seeking candidates who:
- Speak basic English
- Have no degree, certificate, or diploma (experience is an asset, but not required)
- Are Canadian citizens, permanent residents, or valid work permit holders (no LMIA available)
- Can work early mornings and flexible shifts
- Are comfortable working in a poultry farm environment
Key Responsibilities
As a Poultry Farm Worker, you will:
- Feed, tend, and handle poultry
- Track and report feed inventory levels
- Assist in developing and following farm safety and biosecurity procedures
- Detect disease and monitor poultry health
- Carry out pasture or pen breeding programs
- Set and monitor water lines, air flow, and temperature in barns, pens, and coops
- Clean stables, barns, barnyards, and pens
- Supervise and coordinate the work of general farm workers and labourers
