Job Requirements
Prairie Bus Lines is looking for dedicated Spare School Bus Drivers to join their team in Drayton Valley.
Ideal candidates:
- Must have a valid Class 5 driver’s licence (training will be provided to upgrade to Class 2S)
- Must have a clear criminal record and vulnerable sector search
- Must have a safe driving record with less than 3 demerits
- Must be organized, punctual, and reliable
- Must have good knowledge of Drayton Valley and surrounding areas, plus map reading skills
- Must be able to communicate effectively
- Must be available for at least 10 days and work a minimum of 1 shift per month
Key Responsibilities
As a Spare School Bus Driver, you will:
- Provide relief coverage when needed
- Safely transport students to and from school
- Drive available routes (morning and afternoon)
- Cover any route as required (good local knowledge is essential)
- Follow all safety and customer service standards
