Job Requirements
T. Bell Transport is looking for Truck Drivers to join their team in Timmins.
Ideal candidates:
- Must have a secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Must have 3 years to less than 5 years of relevant experience
- Must have a valid AZ class licence
- Must have a Commercial Vehicle Operator’s Registration (CVOR) Certificate
- Must be able to speak English
- Must pass a driver’s licence validity check and driving record check (abstract)
- Must provide steel-toed safety boots
- Must be reliable, hardworking, flexible, patient, and a team player
- Must have excellent oral and written communication skills and good judgement
- Must be comfortable handling heavy loads and sitting for long periods
Key Responsibilities
As a Truck Driver, you will operate dump trucks and tractor-trailer combinations for short-haul transportation, perform required vehicle inspections, safely secure and tarp cargo, maintain accurate driver logs and inspection reports, and ensure the vehicle remains safe and compliant throughout each trip.
- Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections and oversee all aspects of the vehicle
- Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo
- Operate dump trucks and extended length tractor-trailer combinations
- Complete driver logbook and inspection reports
- Handle short-haul transportation
