Job Requirements
Capella Sydney is looking for a detail-oriented Housekeeping Attendant to join their Housekeeping Department.
- Experience in a similar role at luxury hotels or resorts preferred
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a personable character
- Strong team player who is good at cultivating guest relations
- Basic spoken English required
- Knowledge of cleaning procedures, chemicals, and surfaces
- Must have valid working rights in Australia
Key Responsibilities
As a Housekeeping Attendant, you will maintain guest rooms and housekeeping areas to high cleanliness standards while providing courteous and efficient service.
- Provide the highest quality standard of guest room comfort and cleanliness in accordance with hotel policies, procedures, and Forbes standards
- Service guest rooms and attend to guest housekeeping requests
- Provide excellent service to internal customers
- Handle guest and internal customer complaints and inquiries in a courteous and efficient manner
- Feedback guest complaints to the Supervisor / Assistant Executive Housekeeper and Executive Housekeeper
- Ensure and check all daily required chemicals and cleaning supplies; use chemicals correctly and safely
- Ensure all guest linen is changed daily as requested
- Empty soiled linen
- Clean and tidy all pantries, storage cabinets, and toilets
