Job Requirements
Marriott International (The Ritz-Carlton) is looking for a reliable Hotel Driver / Runner to join their team in Dubai.
Ideal candidates:
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent preferred
- No related work experience required
- No supervisory experience required
- Must be able to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
- Must be able to move through narrow, confined, or elevated spaces and up/down stairs or service ramps
- Must be able to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 55 pounds without assistance
- Must be able to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping
- Must maintain a professional uniform, personal appearance, and communication
- Must follow company policies, maintain confidentiality, and uphold quality and safety standards
Key Responsibilities
As a Hotel Driver / Runner, you will deliver items to guests, support various hotel departments, assist with daily operations, respond promptly to guest and staff needs, and help maintain a smooth and welcoming hotel environment while following safety procedures and company standards.
- Deliver items directly to guests in their rooms
- Provide support to housekeeping, engineering, banquets, restaurants, the front office, and other departments
- Move about the hotel to ensure guests and associates have what they need when they need it
- Help create a memorable and unique guest experience
- Ensure smooth operations across the hotel
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies
- Maintain professional appearance and communication at all times
- Perform other reasonable job duties as requested
