Job Requirements
Serco is looking for a Plumbing Facility Maintenance Technician to join their technical team at Dubai Airport.
- Must hold an Industrial Training Institute Diploma in Pipe Fitting or Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Maintenance (or equivalent, post high school)
- Must hold an IOSH Working Safely Certificate or equivalent
- Must have a minimum of 4 years’ experience within a Facility Management or similar environment as a Plumbing & Pump Technician
- Must be able to conform to all general and technical safety requirements at all times
- Fair knowledge of Building Management Systems (BMS) is required
- Must be able to read, interpret, and describe the functionality of pipework schematics and system layout drawings
- Must be able to correctly set up and use test equipment and interpret results (Manometer, Water pressure test kits – Dry & Wet, Digital Multi meter for earth bond continuity, Drain Cleaning Machine)
- Must be able to raise and complete PMS fault report sheets, daily utilization reports, and CMMS work orders
- Knowledge of Safety Isolations and LOTO is required

Key Responsibilities
As a Plumbing Facility Maintenance Technician, you will maintain and repair plumbing systems and equipment while ensuring safe, reliable operation with minimal disruption to airport activities.
- Carry out preventative, corrective, and breakdown maintenance on plumbing pipework, equipment, and systems
- Work on integral and standalone pumps, individually or as part of a technical team
- Ensure minimal disruption to airport operations
- Perform planned preventative maintenance (PM) routines
- Carry out corrective maintenance (CM) and breakdown maintenance (BD)
- Maintain systems including: potable water pipework and valves, waste and drainage systems, washroom sanitary fixtures and fittings, pressure reducing valve stations (PRVs), heat exchangers, calorifier equipment, aircraft potable water systems, storage type water heaters, high temperature hot water (HTHW) systems, chilled water pumps (CWP), sewage pumps, and storm water pumps
- Follow all safety procedures and complete required reports and work orders
- Carry out any other work assigned by the supervisor / duty engineer
