Job Requirements
Vicary Resources Inc. is looking for a highly experienced Class 1 Driver to join their team in Blairmore, Alberta.
- Must hold a valid Class 1 driver’s licence
- Must be highly experienced in hauling with tandem tractor and tri-axle end dump trailer
- Experience with low-bedding heavy equipment and gravel hauling with quad wagon is an asset
- Must have a clean driver’s abstract
- Must provide an experience letter for insurance purposes
- Safety must be a top priority
- Must be comfortable working in a busy, high-traffic mining and highway environment
- Must be available for occasional Saturday work when required for project completion
Key Responsibilities
As a Class 1 Driver, you will safely transport materials and heavy equipment on local routes while adapting to changing project, traffic, and weather conditions.
- Haul contaminated soil using tandem tractor and tri-axle end dump trailer
- Perform low-bedding of heavy equipment when required
- Haul gravel with quad wagon as needed
- Work in a busy high-traffic mining and highway environment
- Complete local daily hauls between Cowley, AB and Sparwood, BC
- Follow all safety procedures and prioritize safe driving at all times
- Adjust to varying shift requirements based on project needs and weather conditions
