Job Requirements
NewGen Cleaning Services is looking for reliable, detail-oriented, and hardworking cleaners to join their team for post-construction and residential cleaning projects.
- Must be reliable, detail-oriented, and hardworking
- Must speak English
- Must be able to follow WHMIS, PPE, health and safety, and site-specific procedures
- Must be able to work independently and complete cleaning checklists
- Previous cleaning experience is an asset but not required
Key Responsibilities
As a Janitorial Cleaner, you will keep washrooms, common areas, offices, and other assigned spaces clean, sanitary, and well maintained.
- Clean and disinfect washrooms (toilets, urinals, sinks, mirrors, counters, and fixtures)
- Sweep, vacuum, mop, and spot-clean floors
- Empty garbage and recycling receptacles and replace liners
- Clean entrances, common areas, hallways, offices, and other assigned spaces
- Wipe and disinfect high-touch surfaces (door handles, switches, railings, counters)
- Clean interior glass, doors, and accessible glass surfaces
- Replenish washroom and janitorial supplies (toilet paper, paper towels, soap)
- Perform periodic and detail cleaning according to the site schedule
- Maintain janitorial rooms, equipment, and supplies in an organized condition
- Report maintenance issues, damages, safety hazards, or supply shortages to the supervisor
- Complete cleaning checklists and required service documentation
