Lakeside Foods is looking for a Forklift Driver to join their team in Belgium, Wisconsin.
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- 1–3 years of forklift experience preferred
- Must be Lakeside forklift certified (or able to obtain certification)
- Basic computer skills required
- Must have attention to detail
- Must have excellent customer service skills and basic math skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Must maintain a safe driving record and a current forklift certification
Key Responsibilities
As a Forklift Driver, you will safely move materials and finished goods, manage inventory, support production lines, and handle shipping and receiving tasks using SAP, scanning equipment, and required documentation.
- Work in one or more areas: feeding, take-away, shipping, and/or receiving
- Keep lines fed by locating and delivering stock to appropriate machines safely and on time
- Maintain inventory, stage product, and complete necessary paperwork
- Create location storage stickers and move finished goods to appropriate storage locations
- Bring labels to production lines
- Unload and inspect inbound inventory and materials
- Receive product into SAP and use SAP to determine appropriate storage locations
- Accurately select, prepare, and load product for outbound shipment per customer specifications
- Create and complete necessary shipping and receiving paperwork
- Check materials against vendor invoices, bills of lading, customer orders, and similar documents
- Fill out forklift checklist at the start of each shift
- Utilize SAP and RF scanning equipment daily to locate inventory, create location stickers, maintain accurate inventory, and complete shipping and receiving paperwork
