Job Requirements
Sepcon is looking for an experienced multi-role HGV Driver / Digger Operator to join their team in Kilcock, Co. Kildare.
- Full HGV (C) Driving Licence (CE preferred but not essential)
- Full Category B Driving Licence
- CSCS excavator / digger tickets (CSCS 360° Excavator ticket required)
- At least 1 year artic driving experience
- Experience driving HGVs in challenging environments
- Good understanding of safe loading, securing, and transportation of plant
- Groundworks / on-site construction experience (1 year preferred)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication and organisational skills
- Strong focus on health and safety
- English language required
- Work authorisation for Ireland required
- Willingness to travel up to 50%
Key Responsibilities
As an HGV Driver / Digger Operator, you will transport and operate heavy equipment, carry out excavation and groundwork, assist with wastewater system installations, and ensure vehicles and machinery are used safely and maintained properly.
- Operate trucks with cranes to install Sepcon BAF systems
- Drive HGVs with plant, equipment, and materials to and from sites
- Load, secure, and unload plant and equipment safely
- Operate excavators / diggers on site
- Drive company vans and other company vehicles as required
- Assist with wastewater treatment system installations and associated groundworks
- Complete daily vehicle and plant checks
- Ensure equipment is operated safely and maintained to a high standard
- Work closely with the installation and operations teams
