Job Requirements
C&K Services Ltd is looking for Light Duty Cleaners to join their team in Iqaluit.
Ideal candidates:
- Must have 1 year to less than 2 years of relevant experience
- No degree, certificate, or diploma required
- Must be able to speak English
- Must have a valid driver’s licence
- Must be physically fit and able to handle weights up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs)
- Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment under pressure with tight deadlines
- Must be reliable, dependable, flexible, and a team player
- Must have good interpersonal skills, initiative, and attention to detail
- Must be client-focused with strong values and ethics
Key Responsibilities
As a Light Duty Cleaner, you will maintain clean, hygienic, and well-presented facilities by performing housekeeping and sanitation duties, replenishing linens and supplies, removing waste, responding to guest requests, handling lost-and-found items, and addressing customer concerns professionally.
- Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors
- Dust furniture
- Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture
- Make beds and change sheets
- Distribute clean towels and toiletries
- Stock linen closets
- Clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances
- Clean and disinfect elevators
- Handle and report lost and found items
- Attend to guests’ requests for extra supplies or other items
- Provide basic information on facilities
- Pick up debris and empty trash containers
- Wash windows, walls, and ceilings
- Clean changing rooms and showers
- Address customers’ complaints or concerns
