Lakeside Foods, Inc. is hiring a Forklift Driver for its facility in Belgium, Wisconsin.
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Forklift experience (1–3 years) preferred
- Must be Lakeside forklift certified
- Basic computer skills required
- Attention to detail, excellent customer service skills, and basic math skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Must maintain a safe driving record and current forklift certification
Key Responsibilities
As a Forklift Driver, you will safely move and organize inventory, supply materials to production lines, manage shipping and receiving tasks, and use SAP and scanning equipment to track stock, maintain accurate records, and ensure orders are prepared and dispatched correctly.
- Work in one or more areas: feeding, take-away, shipping and/or receiving
- Keep lines fed by locating and delivering stock to appropriate machines safely and on time
- Maintain inventory, stage product, and complete necessary paperwork
- Create location storage stickers and move finished goods to appropriate storage locations
- Unload and inspect inbound inventory and materials; receive product into SAP
- Use SAP to determine appropriate storage locations
- Accurately select, prepare, and load product for outbound shipment per customer specifications
- Check materials against vendor invoices, bills of lading, customer orders, and similar documents
- Fill out forklift checklist at the start of each shift
- Utilize SAP and RF scanning equipment daily to locate inventory, maintain accuracy, and complete shipping and receiving paperwork
